I've produced a short animated film entitled Near . This is my first foray into directing my own work and into the world of film festivals. After spending years producing show opens and promotions that were usually 10-second pieces, this has been a real joy. I combined Fujichrome that I shot while trekking in Nepal with hand drawn elements and animation. The result is something like a surrealist's travelog. The film has been converted to the PAL format for screening in the EU.
